12th Man scheme continues
Monday July 22nd 2019
Barking FC are delighted to announce that the 12th Man Scheme will continue into the 2019/20 season! The scheme allows fans to contribute money to the club which will be used only for the clubs playing budget and is in addition to the club’s existing budget.
Last season saw just over £2,500 raised during the course of the season and this year it is vital to raise as much cash as possible. Our lateral move to the BetVictor Isthmian South Central League increases our mileage and expenses while a lack of local derbies will impact our home attendances.
First team manager Justin Gardner had this to say on the 12th man scheme:
“First of all, I would like to thank all the supporters of Barking for their huge contribution last season that hugely helped me to bring players to the club and also for taking the time to read this.
For those willing to contribute this season, we have signed some very good players this season by myself and the management team need to get couple more signings over the line & with your help this could be achieved, whatever you contribute will be very much appreciated.
We want this season to be a very successful one and the club is growing and with your support it will only keep on growing. This season we want fans to be more interactive with players by taking photos with Man of the Match and doing interviews before games with the media team.
Thanks to all and see you at the next game.
Come on you Blues!”
The club also believe that giving to the scheme means that we should give something back to you and are looking to reward those who contribute this season.Payment information and further details will be released soon but if you can’t wait that long please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
