FULL REPORT TO FOLLOW - Interim report

Barking secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over Bury Town who started the day just one place below the Blues.

After a cagey 30 minutes which saw the best chance fall to Bury as Olajide tip the ball onto the bar Barking opened the scoring as Adem Ramadan shot low and across Tibbles after a through ball by Abs Seymour.

Abs Seymour turned scorer just moments later as a long throw fell to him on the edge of the box and he lashed the ball into the top corner with an exquisite volley.

Debutant Kemo Darboe grabbed Barking’s third after 70 minutes as he powerfully headed home from Ben O’Brien’s flick-on.

There was time for a consolation through Tommy Robinson as he lifted the ball over Olajide.
