Barking 3

Norwich United 1

Barking got back to winning ways thanks to a 3-1 victory over relegation-threatened Norwich United.

It looked like it would be a long day for Norwich as Ben O’Brien hooked a half volley home with 3 minutes on the clock after Kiernan Hughes-Mason had seen his effort saved. Norwich grew into the game and it took until the 56th minute for Barking’s second as Kiernan Hughes-Mason’s low cross from the left wing evaded everyone before squirming under the unsighted Norwich keeper Wilton.

The visitors had a way back into the game after 73 minutes as sub Damon Cooper prodded the ball home but Barking made sure of all three points after 88 minutes as Hughes-Mason got his second slotting home Levett’s through ball.
