Barking FC honour the Hawaiian Hammers

Wednesday Janaury 3rd 2017

Barking FC’s own New Year’s honours list is for all ‘Hawaiian Hammer’ members who are to be honoured by Barking FC chairman Rob O’Brien.

As long servants of locally based football they will be granted free entry into this Saturdays home game against Hertford Town which kicks off at 3pm. Also for all future home games they will be admitted at the Chairman’s special concessionary price of £5.

Rob commented: “I’ve known the Hawaiian Hammers for some time. They are a great group of boys that over the years support, play & raise money for local football.
I wanted to honour them in some way for a great job they do. I’m sure there are other small groups out there in our community that also do good stuff but don’t get recognised.
I just wanted to do something positive at the start of this new year of 2018.”

If there are other groups that feel they are doing a great job locally then please feel free to let Rob know.
