Barking gave their promotion play-off hopes a boost with a second successive win in Suffolk on Saturday.
Having beaten high-flying Bowers at Mayesbrook Park in midweek, to end a three-game losing run, Justin Gardner’s men struck twice in the last 10 minutes to claim another three points.
And victory leaves them in eighth place level on points with Dereham Town in sixth, but with an inferior goal difference.
Gardner gave debuts to new signings Jack McQueen and Eli Benoit and the match remained in the balance, with in-form Mildenhall seeing three of their players booked either side of the interval.
Barking’s Abs Seymour was also shown a yellow card after replacing Kemo Darboe, but the visitors made the breakthrough minutes later when Seymour’s inswinging cross from the right was headed in at the near post by a diving Billy Jones.
And Blues sealed the points four minutes from time when Quentin Monville’s cross from the right found Ben O’Brien, who hooked the ball home to claim his 50th goal for the club.
Barking are back on the road next weekend when they make the short trip to Aveley’s Parkside ground to take on Grays Athletic, before Tilbury visit Mayesbrook Park on Tuesday April 3 (7.45pm).
