Richard House fund raiser
Wednesday April 5th 2017
Saturday April 15th will be a special day: we entertain Sporting Bengal United in our penultimate home league game of the season, hopefully we will have been confirmed as champions of the Essex Senior League following the news we will once again playing in the Isthmian League next season.
Councillor Cameron Geddes will be sponsoring the game and it will be used as a fund raiser including a bucket collection for current Mayor Councillor Eileen Keller’s chosen charity: Richard House Children’s Hospice which is based in Beckton.
Richard House provides specialist care to over 300 children and young adults with life-limiting health conditions and support their families. At the heart of their work is providing support to children, young people and their families for end-of-life and symptom management care. More details regarding Richard House can be found here.
A Virgin Money giving webpage has been set up for the game and it can be found here
We would like to thank Councillor Geddes for his continuing support and look forward to welcoming the Mayor to our Mayesbrook Park home.
